SPAM Studios is a cultural organization founded in 2018 by theatre director Ana Bateva and musician and composer Stefan Zdraveski.

The vision of SPAM Studios is to become a recognizable platform for the creation of contemporary theatre, both locally and internationally.

Awarded multiple times at international theatre festivals, SPAM Studios has built strong and sustainable international partnerships over the years. Since January 2024, the organization has also been an official member of IETM – the world’s largest network for the performing arts, based in Brussels.

The mission of SPAM Studios is to facilitate young people’s access to creative, experimental artistic processes by promoting contemporary art and innovative forms. In line with this mission, the organization’s goals focus on enriching the cultural environment for young audiences in Bulgaria through the organization of cultural events: performances, exhibitions, concerts, debates, and workshops led by internationally renowned artists.
